We offer a few different services and frequency options to get your home sparkling. To help with your specific needs, choose from Standard, Deep and Move In/Out. Each has a set of basic tasks the  cleaner will cover. If you have anything extra in mind, we offer add-on services for an additional fee.

Question 2

How long will it take my cleaner to arrive?

Accepted Answer

Please allow a 2 hour window for your Clean Team to arrive. We provide you with a 2 hour arrival window to accommodate the unpredictability that sometimes comes with bookings such as a previous booking taking longer than expected.

If your cleaner is running late, which does not happen often, we will notify you on their behalf. It’s our policy to put a smile on your face and that means keeping you in the loop and aware at all times.

Have the Legacy Housekeepers had background checks?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A thorough background check is run on every cleaner when they partner with us.

Your are deciding to trust us your most precious possessions –  your home, safety and peace of mind. We do not take that responsibility  lightly.

We perform a rigorous vetting process for our cleaning partners to verify that they are free of criminal history, professional license, education discrepancies, poor credit history, damaged driving record, false employment history, references and a failed drug test.

If any of these red flags appear – we will not take them on as a cleaning partner.

Question 4

Will you leave a room uncleaned if asked?

Accepted Answer

Of course. Whether you are working at home and prefer, we don’t clean your office, or have a room with a sleeping baby or an anxious pet – that is no problem. Let our cleaning crew know which room you would like undisturbed.

Question 5

Will there be multiple cleaners in my home at once?

Accepted Answer

Some jobs and homes are bigger than others and in those cases more hands are necessary to get the job done quickly.

If you prefer only one cleaner come at a time, please let us know at booking so we can accommodate your request, just be aware it may take a little longer to finish your cleaning.

Can I add-on a service after booking?

Accepted Answer

Oops, you forgot to add microwave or refrigerator cleaning to your service when booking? 
No problem! Just send us a message with your 'cleaning account number' and we will adjust your bill.

Question 7

Are laundry and dishes washing services included my appointment?

Accepted Answer

At this time, no. Laundry and dishes are not included in your house cleaning services.

Question 8

Can I give my cleaner a cash tip?

Accepted Answer

Feel free! 
Much like other service-based jobs, tipping is appreciated but not a requirement. Everyone wants to be rewarded for a job well done and cleaners are no different.

A good rule of thumb is between 15-20% of the total cleaning service rate. Feel like you received an exceptional job or have asked them to complete an especially dirty project? A tip is a great way to show cleaners that you appreciate their cleaning services and them as a cleaner.

Can I hire a Clean Team Member on the side?

Accepted Answer

We ask that you hire our team solely through this website. 
Since our Clean Team pro-cleaners are commission-based, we ask that you not pay them in addition to the initial booking payment. Under the table payments could lead to you being removed from our customer list and them in financial  breach of their partnership contract with Legacy Housekeeping.

If the state of your home requires additional services based condition or if you would like to request upgraded cleanings while a cleaner is at your home, please reach out and we will adjust the payment to your card on file.
